Above was the old Myrtle Ave El that ran from Ridgewood Queens to Downtown Brooklyn, It was one of the original Elevated lines in Brooklyn, it ceased operation in the late 60s.

shower thoughts: bro... the M is BMT, but runs with IND train in manhattan... B D F) if the R62A shuttle trains in manhattan are IRT, then if the "S" rollsign is a BMT ... then is the R62A BMT..? how do IRT trains fit so perfectly in IND/BMT tracks... the R62As on the 1 line is basically a 6/7 train R62A with no side lights basically a R62...

Wdym how do they fit perfectly? They use the same track gauge... the SAME track gauge as the LIRR, NJ Transit, etc... apart from the fact that NYC subway tracks only carry lighter trains. Also, the S is not a "BMT rollsign", it's just a shuttle rollsign.

Hello, I am French and I like metros. I have a question: how long does it take 2 trains to enter? And how long do you stay in a station? Thank you so much.

15-20 seconds with the doors open unless it’s a heavy crowd getting on and off. This also doesn’t include if the rail control center holds a train for a cross platform connection if another service arrives at the same time.
