omg we had a girl from my flight pee herself in the auditorium when basically every new flight was in there. She asked for help from the guy who was walking around speaking on the microphone when he passed her and everyone could hear her say she peed herself because it got picked up by the microphone...

We had a girl pee herself as well and according to our MTI it happens all the time. Our girl who peed was a mom and it really does make sense. It could be caused from the lack of strength in her pelvic floor. Which BTW while peeing yourself is common, it is not normal! you have to work on it with strength and conditioning especially after having a baby!

#notificationsquad my dad also was in the military in the 1980's ('84-90) and I remember he told me when he was in engineer school there was one dude in his barracks that would not shower. Long story short, my dad and a couple of his friends "convinced" this guy to take showers. Kind of a shame that stuff isn't allowed anymore, but hey if it helps to recruit/maintain people into the military then I'm fine with it. Keep up the good work Elora! Also, I farted

It’s so funny that Air Force is so “fluffy”. Navy boot camp is definitely still very old school. You can get dropped, cussed at and definitely made fun of. I just graduated at the end of September, so it’s not like I went forever ago. lol. But I love these stories! Also, I was unfortunately the pants pee-r of my division 😂😂😂😂 didn’t do it in public and only a few girls knew about it but still embarrassed nonetheless. lol. My issue was that boot camp was the most hydrated I had ever been in my life and my poor bladder could not keep up 😂

@@ashleyp6206 What? I'm in the Navy and I was specifically talking about Naval boot camp. I've heard Army and Air Force boot camp are a lot more lax and you definitely don't get yelled at like that.

I was in the bathroom during an Airman time so I thought I was in the clear to use the bathroom and next thing I hear is the EC monitors yell "FIRE FIRE FIRE" and im like huh those EC are really loud thinking its another flights ... It wasnt i hear ppl shuffling through the bathroom and im mid trying to go number 2... Then I hear the EC yell "All clear in the bathroom?" and Im like "No..." I quickly pulled my pants up and ran out the the drill bad hoping no one saw me with no wingman... I have no idea why I didnt stay with the ECs and then when we were finally allowed back inside I had never moved faster up those steps as I was legit feeling it come out

Jeez, the second story abt the pee, how funny because an MTI told us just about that story at BMT! Lol, he was like, I had a female pee herself during a PT test one day... she kept going, THATS's the spirit you all should have. So... hopefully she knows her experience is being used as an example to keep going when u pee your pants during PT now... lol.

I’m in the navy and right before battle stations (requirement to graduate), we had amnesty night which is where we got to talk about the weird boot camp things to our RDCs (basically drill instructors) without getting in trouble. I was in a female division and we combined with the male division for this. One of the males talked about how in the middle of the night, he put on his cover instead of recruit ball cap to look like an RDC and scream at sleeping recruits in the middle of the night, and they’d think it was an RDC because of the cover so they’d be scared af 😂

Going thru basic during the early eighties was different. Many of my instructors were Vietnam veterans. They had there own games they played. Once our TI called us together and said he inspected the latrine and found someone had taken a dump and didn't flush. So he was giving us extra duty. So were like who would do that? It happened again and more extra duty. So we finally had someone always check to see everything was clean. Ti comes in and says he inspected it and extra duty for everyone and he is really pissed off. Finally one guy told us the TI was the only one to use the latrine. Yup, he was just screwing with us.

You find out where your going a few days before graduation. Depending on what your job will be determines where you go. Intel is at good fellow Airforce base in Texas so is some fire protection
