Could you please tell what's the response of the car (manual paddle shifting) when reaching the engine rev limit? Does it keep at a rev cut state (like a manual sports car) or it does automatically shift to the next gear even if you didn't press the upshift paddle? Thanks

I did not order my car yet. 27.04.2017 i will be at BMW and buy it. I made the experience, that You can not wait until You have it. But when You have it, You should drive on a Highway. So, the machine will get the best performance. After 2 monts You know everything and You want a better one.Hope, You understand my bad english. Greetings from Germany.

I thought the m240i would've been the more focused of the 2 as it was the case with the m235i and m135i. M140i is cheaper than the m240i aswell so makes it a no brainer if it's also the more focused!

In my opinion the Ford Focus RS is still the best Hot Hatch. It looks really really nice and agressive, it has enought power and it's a manual with AWD. I think this is the best hot hatch you can buy

I actually cross shopped the m140i and wrx STI. M140i felt much more premium and sweet 6 cylinder, last gen RWD manual. both priced similar, it would be mad if i don't go for this future classic considering the next gen 1 is going FWD and 4 bangers! and i added the LSD + perforamnce exhaust with carbon fibre alcantara interior and exterior options. so it felt pretty much an M1 if it does exist for me. :)
