Hi thanks for the video, I want to use and 4 channel RCA unit to connect a few amps in my car.. I need to know what the wires connect to which speaker and ground, remote and power. Would you be able to help me please. I have used this method before however I had a wiring diagram for the stereo but I can't find one for the E87 BMW 2005 1 series 120d business cd.

Hi, there is no code required for this type stereo.

Recommend any particular stereo? Previous owner got glue into the stereo, buggered. However, climate control is fine.. recommend any stereos that fit in the stereo slot? cheers

When you removed climate control unit, it only had 2 wires that needed to be removed or 3?

No, there is no radio code on the BMW models of this generation.

I can't say for sure, but from our experience we haven't seen a pin on the original radio for either of those.
