When it starts "bogging" then undo the plug for the valvetronic and it will revert to the throttle body and run on that instead. If it changes tone then you know the issue is related to the valvetronic. The headlights will depend on the year. If they are LED then it will say it in the lens of the headlight.

Headlights for BMW are extremely tricky to code and get right (especially with compatibility) have you maybe tried to swap the headlight control module with the breaker car (M140) or is it not compatible at all? If not, you can perhaps try and ask someone who does esys coding to try and code the new headlight. Or you could get a non oem aftermarket headlight which is a direct plug and play The good sign is that the lights did power up before so there's some hope on getting it to work

Take out the vanos actuators and give them a clean with brake cleaner, they are located in the back of the engine mate. Also make sure the connectors are fully seated.

If the injectors are effected by the camshaft sensor im guessing the valve tronic may also be effected im thinking check camshaft sensor there cheap but could cause timing to go out slightly and could cause electronic valve to mess around i may be wrong but either of those could cause bogging.

When it comes to the valvetronic try to learn it using ista and hopefully that should get rid of the error. Otherwise you need the valvetronic motor and possibly even the shaft (at BMW they always do both no matter what).

Amazing work bro, I’ve had that fault that you also have with Ricky’s car on a customers car I had in. It turnt out to be the VANoS solenoid. Replaced it and sorted. Easy fix don’t worry bro 👍🏻

These are definitely LED Lights, the Bi-Xenon lights are for the Pre-LCI models from the 2 Series / M2 OG whereas from 2017 LCI onwards they changed to LED lights, the easiest way to tell from the LED and Xenons is that the Xenon lights have the eyebrow light which these do not.

Alot of the time on the bmw's its not the actual valvetronic motor that doesnt work, its the sensor on the controlling side that goes faulty, you can sometimes get away with a good clean of the plug or replacement of the sensor. However i see on this motor the sensor and valvetronic motor comes as a whole single unit. Shot in the dark but maybe worth cleaning it out with a contact cleaner and see what happens.

Bmw does both xenon and LED. Xenon for the regular lights and LED for the high beams on some cars without the full LED option

You need to give Matt Armstrong some tips on brake bleeding. He is using Gunson eezibleed to bleed Rashfords Rolls Royce and its not really working too well

Please explain to xenon to led conversation headlight.

You can tell if its Xenon because when the lights come on, It will ignite which will sort of explode when it comes on. LED will be instant on. Also, there will be a ballast and the Xenon will have a removeable xenon bulb. From the front, Xenon will have a projector casing. LED wont. Xenon halos were round flat tyre sort of design. LED is open from 9 til 12 hexagon. Same with the F30s

It's probably your vanos actuators they are quite common on the B58 if you look at the back of the engine near the bulkhead you should be able to see them, easy enough to change they just twist and lock into place make sure you buy BMW ones only about £55 each

I have a 118i (b38 engine) I get soo bad mpg, 25mpg is the best I get, bros has a 140i and get better mpg, is it common to get 25 mpg. Any answer and solution.
