What tyres are you using?. I would be not as confident on my GS on the parts with wet roads - because I haven't tested my tyres to their limits. I have the Bridgestone Battlax A41. I haven't dropped my GS yet on a slippery road, but dread the day I do. I did drop it at the top of my own driveway, simply because the kick stand didn't engage - my fault - rookie mistake (for a large ADV bike - it's my 7th bike though, just nothing this heavy). I was able to pick it up though because I had watched numerous videos on how to do that. Greetings from Australia.

They were Pirelli Scorpions. Great tires that have some off road capabilities. I don’t often go off road so I would choose the Michelin Road 6 Tyres in the GS fitment if I could do it again. Funny story- during this trip I almost dropped the bike in the weirdest circumstance. I was taking the bike off its kickstand but when I did the brick/cobblestone it was stuck on the stand and on was pulled up out of the ground. The bike was was leaning to the right with the stand on top of this now protruding brick that was immovable. I couldn’t start the engine and drive forward because the kickstand was down and I couldn’t stand the bike up straight because the stand was stuck on the brick sticking out of the ground. I had to hold the bike in place while my friend ran to help clear the brick.
