I ordered one of the new original BMW fenders, which needed work too, so I returned it. So definitely go for the replica, when both need work anyway 👍🏻

Heb je ook iets aangepast aan de vorm in het bovenpaneel zodat de pinkers iets vlakker met de bovenkant van de vleugel zitten?

Jasper Demeulemeester hoi jasper bij mijne was dit zo goed goed als vlak , heb gewoon die lip klein beetje ophoog geplooid en van langs binnenkant boven de pinker bakje eens met plate schroevendraaier gedrukt want zat miniem deukje in, maar de moeitje niet om te filmen zeg maar 😁

Hi, to my knowledge the hole you used to fixate the fender on the front is actually an original hole to fixate the fender exactly how you did it. And the screw clamp is slided on vertically from under. You made a square hole to slide the clamp in horizontally. And the wire for the turn signal is on the bottom-of the cavity it has a rubber hose on it which enters the side of the nose.. The top is originally spot welded like you are going to do and the front is soldered with 40-60 sn pb. Which also makes it easy to remove after heating it up. :-) Excellent work! Nice to see a young gun who knows what he is doing.

Raar, van mij zat de pinker kabel op deze plaatsen , zelfs in mijn oude vleugels geen moer te bespeuren 🤔 of mss afhankelijk van waar ze hem in elkaar gestopt hebben het op andere manier is gedaan? ? Mijn 2002 is in onderdelen naar moorkens in belgie gekomen en opgebouwd geweest hier, was vroeger zo om invoertax te vermijden blijkbaar, staat ook op mijn kenteken plaatje niet münchen maar moorkens , nu dan heb ik dat goed gedaan 😁 waar is deze van u gebouwd?

@@Restorezone ik heb ondertussen diverse 02’s gehad maar geen Belgische geassembleerde auto. Dus daarvan weet ik het niet, maar de auto die ik gehad heb dus zit een rubber slangetje aan de onder kant van de knipperlicht uitsparing die naar het binnen scherm loopt. De auto die ik niet heb is een Portugees geassembleerde auto waar ook wel weer wat dingetjes anders aan zijn. Maar de knipperlichten zitten net zo als bij de Duits geassembleerde auto’s :-) leuk die 02tjes.
