I have driven the 220i for the past 6 years now. The rear seats are nothing more than additional storage for luggage which makes it a very practical convertible for 2 people :). You can pack a lot of luggage and still drive the trip with the top down, which is normally impossible in the hardtop 4 series where the top takes up almost the entire boot. As for autobahn driving with top down, no problem whatsoever. All you need is the wind deflector installed.

I drop by a dealer to look at a 2018 model. The rear windows are very very small. The 2 rear seats headrest were also blocking the rear. I was wondering if they can be remove all together.
@NonstopDriving Жыл бұрын
Yes that is very true, I’ve always backed up with the roof down. As the window doesn’t allow you to see anything. The headrests didn’t bother me to much so I’ve never tried to remove them. Unfortunately the vehicle is currently stored away for the winter so I’m unable to tell you if they are removable. Sorry about the inconvenience.

@@NonstopDriving Thanks for replying. I'm waiting for an Merc SLC as well. Looks like I have to hold off the 218 for the moment. It's such a terrific car, it's a shame. I really love it.
