The airintake suction for all the diesel cars are too low to the ground albeit when there's standing water tend to get sucked in hence the engine will get water damage....

🤔Hmm a 312hp V6 sports sedan or Britain's favorite fuel efficient diesel fleet car. You know what, although I respect your decision, I'd personally rather have a Lexus IS 350 and use the ₱767,000 saved over buying a BMW 318d to buy and restore an BMW E30 3er and/or a Mercedes W201 190E.

Leu CeaMia true lexus will be more of a practical choice and a good one. But its depends on someone's dream of having, bmw is my childhood dream car seeing those badge and curves is like seeing a pretty girl on the street. My 2016 3series msport may not be a popular choice among our people here in our country since it's expensive really, but the feeling of success driving one is priceless. yourmusicisnoisy only once a year (unlimited mileage) and around P7K-P8K (for 4-cylinders). Like maintaining a Japanese sedan basically. BMW has the most affordable service cost, among the luxury brands, here in PH. Condition-based din, meaning the onboard computer will remind you of it's due for maintenance or checkup. Brake service cost, etc about the same as Japanese brands..

Before the recent T.R.A.I..N law, Philippines already has one of the highest Automotive Tax in Asia.

Luxury car prices in the Philippines are similar to what they are in the rest of ASEAN + China and India and are significantly cheaper than Singapore. Unlike the rest of Asia however BMW has no CKD assembly plants in the Philippines so it's all CBUs from them, which outside of units originating from nations covered by AFTA and JPEPA brings significant tariffs. Add that to a weakening peso and you get nonsensical prices on base model German cars. BMW Philippines will probably do what VW did and bring in Chinese made units.
