M8 can you show me where the Camshaft postion sensor is ,Im having a nightmare finding it

Yes there are 2 sensors one in the front behind the egr, the other is behind the rear injector, in the cam cover, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠

What a brilliant video thankyou...... Did you get a little noise before the chain broke. I'm very nervous about mine. I was surprised at the amount of soot, i think it would be a good idea to do them regular. There was a fair bit sludge in the top end also.

The engine has been getting more rattles mainly on start up, I did also miss 1 oil service so this oil was 2 years old, see first part where I explain why kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXOwl3murq10h6M the soot was unexpected, a few more videos to come on this one, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠

I was surprised with the condition of the engine it must have been on long life servicing at some point !

I have been servicing every 12 months for the last 10 years 90,000 miles, but missed last years service, which hasn't helped matters😳 Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠

great content bro but i just had chain done on my 2011 bmw 520d msport f10 and it was all done with out engine out and my friend did the engine mounts az well the f10 do suffer this issue is your engine more comlicated for timing chainn replacement my engine code is n47
