That sounds amazing, did you map it yourself? If so what software did you use? I want to get into tuning my own but not sure best software for making the adjustments

Thank you! Yes, using winols (free version :p, Google demo and v 2.24). Have a look on ecuconnections for some ideas. I had some help getting started from some talented friends, but ultimately there's no substitute for spending some time messing around on the software learning for yourself. Winols itself seems daunting but it's a great, logical programme to navigate through once you get used to it.

What diff is in it? Also how're the shafts holding up with that amount of torque? Got a e46 330d manual touring that I wanna get mapped but that struggles with traction often at 200hp

shafts are well strong on the 30 and 35ds, you can get an lsd or just be careful with the throttle but itll spin up alot more with a map

Stock 2.35 manual diff, using the OEM e-lsd feature. Shafts are common with 35d model. The CV joints seem stronger than E46 330d, two people I know of that drift them suggest the hold out on abuse a lotttt longer (whole season, rather than a single drift day as with E46 hollow shafts). You will be spinning one wheel, and if you're struggling with stock power that suggests you need better tyres. Combined with mechanical lsd, should help traction a lot. Perhaps check wheel alignment too. Bushing and suspension must also be renewed to optimise and control weight transfer. But ultimately, these cars produce a lot of torque. And if it is delivered in an aggressive spike, this will be more likely to overwhelm available traction. When this e92 had lots of torque restriction, torque was delivered linearly. Didn't break traction even with budget 225/40/18 rear tyres on damp road.... Now without restriction, spins up better quality 275 rear in the dry, in 5th gear.
