my M435 i has carbon headlamp eyebrows which as my car is black makes the front end more aggressive. surprised you did not go for carbon side skirts and carbon rear skirts. inside i put door handle carbon clip on' s, gives the handle a more chunky feel with that carbon look.

I want some of your input. Still a reliable car? I just picked up a 2015 435i xdrive convertible with 43,500 km and I need to decide whether to get the extended warranty for it or not. The warranty is CAD $4,000 for 4 years, CAD $500 deductible every time it needs fixing (so not useful if the fix is under $500), but it covers almost everything except for the wearables. If no claim after 4 years, I get CAD $1,500 back

Hey man, just my personal opinion here but I wouldn’t get the warranty. The only main issues I had with this car are the charge pipe, coolant leak, valance cover leak and a blown strut from hitting a really bad pothole. Most of those issues except the strut which was my fault, only costar da few hundred

Are you running any spacers? My tires and wheels setups are Front: 235/40/18 8.5 +35 Rear: 255/40/18 9.5 +35 it’s lowered with H&R Sport front 1.3” rear 0.7”. The rear has a little poke which I do like but the front not as flush with the fenders as I want it to. I want to run spacers up front only but worried it might rubbed. Just curious if you’re running spacers, if so what size without rubbing issue? I had no issue with rubbing when I was running with stock wheel/tire setup 225/45/18 8J with 12.5mm spacers. After having new wheel/tire setup mentioned above, a technician told me it will rubbed if I left 12.5mm spacers up front. Long story short, just need to know in your opinion or experienced, what size spacers up front needed without rubbing with 235/40/18 8.5 +35 with 1.3” drop. Thanks for advance and for those who can chime in.

when you say it was a pain installing , on a scale 1-10 how difficult? because i saw some videos and it looks pretty simple. unscrew the screws at the bottom and pull it off. i ask because im about to buy one and they trying to charge 200$ .. feel like i can do it myself .

Do you have a CEL on constantly due to the down pipe and intake, or were you able to code those out somehow?

So I actually never got a CEL from the intake. Only once because I didn’t tighten it enough but that went away. I coded out the CEL from the downpipe with the tune

On these cars you have to program the new battery after installing it. You can use the BimmerLink app along with a OBD port Bluetooth adapter. The guy at Inline Six Auto did a great video about it
