Brake pads are always changed for both sides on an axle. So the cost of 20K is for all 4 brake pads in the rear. Front set of 4 brake pads will be a little more than that as they are bigger, but the total will be around 40-50k, not 80k!

@Your Pick it is expensive bro, there is no denying that. You have to execute lots of patience and plan your stuffs for many years to get it done. Especially for someone like me who had no financial support from the family. This is completely owned by me and my wife.

Is the OEM ones aren't that good like the cheap alternatives we have now? 2.And How's the braking performance considering the huge size of the vehicle? Thanks a lot bro for going through the videos . Really appreciate it 🙏. Yes I had an issue with dashcam once but it turned out to be a configuration mistake when they set it up initially. Then I installed the app in my mobile and now I controls the configuration. So that is perfect now. I would not say the OEM ones are not good but yes you definitely have much cheaper and better alternatives out there. The only thing to keep in mind is not to mess with the wiring when getting those installed so that your warranty is not impacted. Coming to the braking and performance, I just love the way it performs and handles. The car gives you so much of control and confidence at unbelievable speeds. There was never an incident when I doubted the handling and breaking , it's that good. Yes the brake pads costs a lot so if you think you drive a lot then better avail the service pack which will cover those expenses for you. Even though I bought this , 800 is always close to my heart and I never misses an opportunity to drive that car 😊

It should be somewhere around 20 to 25k if it's just oil and filter change bro. It gets costly when parts starts wearing out. Hopefully you don't have anything to replace like the break pads and stuff. The wear out of those parts depends on how much you have used in the first year. You would not see much wear out with minimal kms run.

Sounds good. Then you can expect something in the range of 15k to 20k. Since yours is a petrol engine, the cost should be less than the diesel to maintain.

That really depends on how much we can afford. But yes, it gets really costly if something goes wrong after the expiration of the warranty. You can have extended warranty for the first 6 years and after that it will become costly.

No bro, the 5 series has a ground clearance of 158mm , when not raised the 6 has the same GC. And the air suspension adds another 20mm which makes it 178mm. I know that most of the data when searched shows 138mm, some would even show you 120mm which is strange. But after using the car , it's definitely not 158 and when raised it never had scraped its underbelly anywhere but the 5 has this problem .

178mm when raised and trust me it has handled all ridiculous speed breakers when raised without issues.

@Nikhil Patil great. It's sad that BMW stopped the 3 litre diesel engine . There is no 530d or 630d as of now. It's a beautiful engine I must confess. It would have been an upgrade you would have enjoyed with out a doubt. Anyway when the time comes you will find the right car for you bro 😊

Hi, the car was at just 26k and brakepad changed? Usually brakepad lasts till 40 to 50k right. Any specific problem with that single brakepad?

They said the one in back will just run for may be 2k kms and I have multiple road trips coming up so they changed it just to be sure it lasts. And they did not specifically say anything wrong about it but its just that the 1 alone had worn out more than the others.

I changed all the break pads and front disc at around 32 kms on my 530d...luxury fast cars tend to wear out faster than regular passenger cars.
