With the bumper off why not remove the indicator and get a dent repair to the top of the front drivers wing? Who knew the washer bottle rubbed through the paint leading to a rust patch! Liking the progress. Lee

Thanks Lee. It would be a good time to get some PDR indeed. However there is no mobile PDR guy in my rural area. I will get it fixed at some point though! I recently purchased some supplies to better clean my cars. The urgent mechanical bits are almost all sorted, I can start thinking of making the car pretty. :)

J'utilise deux Astro 52SL avec la plateforme de recharge magnétique. C'est vraiment une bonne lumière de travail, très flexible et puissante. J'aime beaucoup que la lumière soit blanche, elle n'est ni bleue ni jaune. C'est excellent pour la visibilité, et pour produire des vidéos. Une des lampes s'est craquée en tombant par terre mais elle fonctionne encore très bien. C'est du plastique donc il faut être conscient des limites. En résumé je suis 100% satisfait, même si le prix est un peu cher!

What parts did you need to convert over to the Hella projectors? I have a 92 735i and I saw your other video about the headlights.

It was a straight forward process. If you buy the entire headlight assembly from an E32 or E34 it will fit just fine. The power connectors are the same (9005 & 9006). Note that if you buy a set from an E34 you will need to transfer over your turn signal. If you want to swap only the projector low beams, you can do that on a bench easily. The projectors are interchangeable with the reflector low beams. You will likely need to purchase new adjusters and bushings to hold and aim the new projectors (the old ones are difficult to re-use).

Hi, the BMW part number is 81852339704. A friend imported it for me from Germany, he bought it at a BMW dealership for quite cheap (less than 10$).
