Was all the things you replaced in the box with the compressor as a kit or did you have to add than small canister or the new fittings. If so is there a kit part number? i have a 1997 740IL

they are not, the ac compressors were changed from 730 models and after

At 13:12.... you were fitting a heat deflector for the abs module. Did you make this? That’s not factory right?

The heat shield is a BMW OEM one but the fitting is not factory indeed.

MecaLogic any part numbers you could share on that? I just bought a new abs module for my lifetime keep e38, and this would be good to add. Maybe make a second video about it;)

Hello, under this year's cold winter my car was parked inside the garage for a period of 6 month now. its March of 2024, I started my 2001 BMW 7 series, then all of the sudden I heard a noise coming from the front of the car, when I checked noticed the noise is coming from the AC-Compressor. Its so strange that the AC is not even on but still make the noise. Last year I changed the timing belt, starter, Ac-belt, tensioner and all of the pullies. I thought the AC- compressor looked good and did not change it. In your video I saw that you replaced two valves on two hoses. My Question is are both the valve same or they are different from each other and by any chance do you remember the part numbers. Thank you for the video too.

My friend i have same bmw and ihave install new compreser is it cut off if you put it on low same other cars or its not cut off

It's on or off, you have a button for activate the a/c ;)
