What a car! I bought one this year. I have it around 6 months and I love it more and more every day! A 1997 840ci sport, dark blue, cream leather, 4.4 litre and it's a dream. The nicest looking car ever built...I've loved them forever and have finally realised a motoring dream. Beauty!

This is one of the main topics of my channel. I say you have to figure out what you want your life in retirement to look like. Then you can figure out how much that life costs. Then you will KNOW how much is enough.... plus a buffer. 😬 Also, I watch Brian and Carrie too, but I also watched a channel called Go2Roam and they just quit youtube because he was having fun making the videos, and she thought that is was work and it was getting in the way of them enjoying the travel. Travel videos are 100X more difficult to make than talking head videos. I think Brian and Carrie just figured this out and now are making a lot of talking head videos.

lets be onest. we love the 6 series. i think that is a lovely car. and i do agree that the new generation needs to see the 8 series back to life. and the m8 after. Bmw needs to go back to the basics. The music is awesome...........

changes in design. This is proven by the fact that BMW Z1 and the BMW 8 series, two of the most unique-looking BMWs ever produced, were introduced at around the same time. BMW was transitioning between the old four round headlight look (i.e. original 6 series) and the more modern 90's look (i.e 90's 3,5,7 series). I believe that I make a valid point, and I think that many people would agree.

I love this car, best BMW of the 90's and possibly the best BMW to date. Hey, anyone have any idea what this car runs o the Nurmburgring time-wise? I saw a clip of one on the nurburgring about mid-way through this video.

@johnsurs22 its a bit late but ive been reading the old comments and i agree.cars between these two makes(as well as audi,except for the r8) are similar...and yeah,the 8 series was completely different...one of the most collectible bmws

yeah, they already had the X6 and now a 5 series GT, kind of odd. Doesn't make sense, i'd say they should bring back the 8 series and M1.

It didn't sell well. Yeah it looks great. Im sure it drove fine too. But the sales figures were not there like the 7, 5, and the top selling 3 to keep making it. same reason the 6 left for a while. most people that buy new bmw's want a 4door.

Bmw doesn't look the same as Mercedes. However, most of the cars within BMW look the same, and most of the cars within Mercedes look the same. Of course, it is my opinion, because there are minute differences on the body, but BMW and Mercedes both tend to keep a similar headlight pattern for a long period of time on all classes of models. Consequently, there is a drastic change on all models every new generation. Only during the transition time between generations have there been any radical

You don't have to take it so personally. When I say that I hate BMW, I'm referring to the mentality. Of course, BMW is a well-engineered car, but I can't stand the fact that every BMW looks the same and that BMW purposely makes that one look a trademark. As for my writing abilities, I cut off sentences early on the Internet, a place where I should not be judged on my writing. Take a deep breath and relax.

ya see, that's where BMW just baffles the shit out of me! they waste millions inventing purposeless vehicles like the X6 and 5-series GT hatchback and yet they dont release an awesome new 8-series supercoupe. Im sure a new 8-series would prove to be a better seller than pointless cars like the X6 and 5-series GT

The 8 series is my favorite car. Somewhat ironically, BMW is my least favorite make. What is with BMW and Mercedes. All of their cars look the same. And then finally something unique and different like the 8 series comes out that combines that traditional BMW grill with the pop up headlights and sleek, aerodynamic body, and.............. Splat! They cancel this awesome car and replace it with another generic BMW. It only makes me hate BMW more.
