The stripes pair with Aftermarket 8-color lighting mod is gonna make a HUGE difference. The 8-color lighting mod will be so much brighter since it’ll be actual led stripe all the way cross the door panel instead of simple rejection of light. and it could also cycle through colors with adjustable speeds if you want. The transparent stripe will sharpen the light and still have decent projection of light to the door panel which would still be brighter than stock lighting. The only downside I would say is that the center piece lighting and the footrest lighting is gonna have a lushly color shift from the door panel ones but no big deal since the result is amazing. One more thing, mine feels like it’s a super tight fit when I was installing the stripes so I feeder it from one end to the other with some force. Not sure if it’ll damage the leather beneath the plastic but now it is tight af and it feels like a permanent installation. I’m blown away by the result. Hope you find a chance to try it out!

I don’t think so. I believe those doors are longer, which would probably require longer strips.

Thanks! Pretty sure you’d have to replace the oem part first which would require taking the door panel apart. A little bit of a pain, but not difficult. Just an extra step.

These specific strips are cut to the door length of the F30/F31/F80. I do believe there are longer strips out there somewhere for the 2 door BMW’s 👍🏼
