Great information here. I have a Mini 2017 John Cooper with the 10.2 compression, running HCP (Halim Cazimi) custom Stage2 map. I have the Forge FMIC (Air-to-Air) and HJS sport-CAT DP. Is the B48A20B engine in my JCW a "48 tu" version like in the G-sereies 320i? I dont have a Water based intercooling system (as far as I am able to see). Can you comment on the reliability (tuned) of my engine type compared to your video review in the 330i ?

Mine 330e has a small issue coolant getting low sometimes but no leaks at all. I replaced the cooling cup is better now. It looks like cooling has high pressure

@VadymGarageRacerEnglish the B48 variant in the MINI/X1/X2/M235i 302hp 330lb/tq and stronger internals. I havent alot of examples on the web. Assumed it's due to the F/AWD platform, I'm sure alot of people love to see your input on that version of the B48 motor

I have a 2019 G01 X3. had a turbo coolant return line leak at 65kmiles, now has a leaking water pump at 71k miles and also leaking engine oil from balance shaft end caps in front of engine. Must say ive done all repairs myself and is one of the easiest car to work on. I will also be replacing oil filter housing to aluminum at 80k miles

​@@RKSAINT Interesting, I didn't realize that the balance shafts have external seals. Definitely good to know. The 4 cylinders certainly do have plenty of room to work with under the hood

@@Shade_Tree_Mechanic you can’t buy the o ring for the caps you need to buy the caps themselves that come with the o ring they’re about $12 a piece.

430 2014 there is not such version BMW. in 2014 only 428 n20. in 2018 only 430 b48
