BMW C1 Review (2003)

Always wanted one to commute to work on. Primarily because of the big windshield and rain protection. I commuted by motorcycle most of my career and the trips home in the rain were not part of my favorite memories. But, I think I'd need at least 400cc's to keep up with Texas traffic. Alas, I retired some years ago but would still love to have one to go visit the grandkids on. I don't think they even sell them in the USA. Sad really!

@1:09 Incorrect , The Bike Has 15bhp not 11bhp

There is a BMW-c1 125 and a BMW C1-200 And on a C200 a helmet is not obligated.

The 125 has 15bhp the 200cc has 18bhp , Both use Rotax engines & in the U.K you have yo wear a helmet by law. Peter Parker a U.K rider went to court in London circa 2002 & won the right to not wear a helmet , but shortly after the court ruled that the win was overturned as it would cause such a grey area within the legal system. However you CAN ride a Quad Bike on the road & NOT wear a helmet !
