The M50 stroker sounds an absolute treat and matches the e34 chassis so well. Your chassis is nicely balanced too. I'm hoping you can help. I'm in the process of rebuilding an M62 and have found the cost of new rod bolts to be absolutely exorbitant, unlike the M5x series bolts. People in the US all say you must replace them when rebuilding, but in the UK, they are commonly reused for the first rebuild. I noticed in your stroker build write-up that you follow the latter practice with the M50, and I am inclined to do the same with my M62 for the huge cost saving involved. In theory, should there be any difference as regards reuse in the M62? Thank you.

I see no issue in reusing rod bolts. Done it a few time even on racecars.
