Great and clear How To video! You showed the work being done rather than talk talk talk like so many others. You gave me the confidence to do it. Thank you!

Great video! My only (very small) suggestion is that you break loose the fluid line nut, then barely cinch it back up just until it stops leaking. Then take out the top bolt, then break the bottom loose, then finally - right before fully clearing the bottom bolt - only then take off the line. This keeps you from having fluid dripping all over you while you are removing the cylinder mounting bolts. Just a thought. The pressure bleeder is a very handy tool! Good recommendation. Thx!

Good video. Every clip is relevant information no useless dialog, and even included tool sizes needed unlike most.

The old fluid does actually look a bit like cloudy cider!
@MostlyHelpful3 жыл бұрын
I've never seen fluid like it - awful! It had a fluid change not that long ago but they clearly only did the brakes so I'll do a full system flush just to be sure.

hey ! great vid ! i was thinking of getting the same slave cylinder you got but wanted to make sure it would be ok for the 325i and if it was a good part ? thanks!
@MostlyHelpful2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Berenise, I appreciate it. Assuming yours is an E36 325i then I'm sure this will be fine. The modification that my Alpina has over a regular 325i don't touch the clutch or gearbox so those parts on my car are just regular ones as fitted to any manual 325i. Good luck with the job.
