Nice video! Hopefully some more E36 content coming up, the love you put into these cars always pays you back.

Thanks and yes, plenty more to come including a low cost brake upgrade using parts from an E46 325ci.

sweet. those electrical connectors with the wire clip @4:49, just push it down instead of prying up!

Nice video. How long time did you last in the process?? Thanks!!

Thanks, I recall it taking about two hours to do. Like all these things I would be much quicker the 2nd time around.

Aren’t our supposed to push those clips in to unlock them instead of using the flathead to take off the clip? Like literally just squeeze the clip and it’ll compress more in and let the plug come out

Yes, you are right. I didn't know this when I filmed it (I've always just done it that way) but like you, somebody commented that there was an easier way 👍

I've replaced mine and now it's leaking really hard :(

Frustrating, is it possible the gasket got pinched on re-installation? Also I replaced mine as I thought it was leaking, but turns out it was fine, and it's my power steering pipes that are leaking and they are directly below this housing. Good luck getting it sorted. 👍

@MostlyHelpful I've overtorqued one of the bolts and uses helicoil, I assume it might be not as tight as it should be. I will get to it on the weekend. Thanks
