If you plan on testing filters - try air filter with integrated bellmouth or with bellmouth adapter, dangling open pipe or sharp edges at the entrance have very bad flow at high air velocities.

That is still very impressive , a great result for all the work you have done , now just figure boxing the air intake and channel so your getting the cold air from outside not the engine bay, how hot was the weather on day of testing?In confined workshop your still using warm air no matter what ..The car looks great also pat on the back for excellent job mate!!

Thanks Peter! It was relatively hot day on the track around 35-38C. On the dyno day it was little bit colder maybe 28C-30C I don't remember exactly. Still the engine bay was hot soaked, so probably this will contribute a little about the results.

s54 has integrated iat sensor in its maf sensor, there are some iat sensor relocation kits online, that help with retarding timing issues. Pretty much it reports fake iat readings due to heat soking sensor.

I have bought 1 second-hand 306d3 engine, it has been idle for more than 1 year. What should I check before installing to another vehicle? Do I have to change the crankshaft seals or other seals? And what steps should I follow before starting this engine that has been stopped for so long?

328hp without remap is actually pretty good. Pretty much every stock e46 m3 owner that I know that went on the dyno comes out to about 320hp, so you are up already. After you sort your intake situation, consider doing a proper remap. Check out HTE performance, he can do remote dyno tuning and really knows this platform well.

I guess so. There is not a lot of cars with this engine in our country, what to say in our city, so to be able to do a comparison. The car pulls good when the IAT is low, so I think everything will be fine when I sort this out. I will check them, probably when I install the cams, don't think it will make a big difference right now, only with the exhaust. Maybe 10-15 hp.

Have you done a leak down test after breaking in the engine? I wonder if the engine is at least sealing properly. Supposedly with your SS header you should see at least about 340hp from the crank. 70F IAT is nothing and shouldn't cause any power loss.

I haven't replaced the piston rings, so there is no need of break-in procedure. And yes its btw 70C-80C on track not F

Не ми се обикаля по динота, само за да намеря някое което ще ми покаже големи цифри. Исках да видя горе долу как е колата и най-вече графиката дали е изгладена
