I’ve lacker’d lug nuts with copper grease a million times over working in garages and I’ve never had a customer come back with a wheel missing, god for bid.

Out of curiosity, what would be the purpose of greasing up the lug nuts? I've heard this can lead to over torquing which makes sense.

thanks for your video mate! i have some 18 inch m3 wheels and i just bought the trak from h and r spacers/adapters from ecs and long studs off turner motor sport. i thought the long studs would be a better idea since they are made for the actual length of my spacer (exactly what you did) instead of bolting it to the hub and then bolting the wheel to the spacer/adapter. i felt it would be stronger with the longer bolts just like you did. good to know i choose right. only waiting on my shipment thanks!

I had no issues with vibrations while running these spacers.

I drive 30mm spacer up front, not lowered, You should have gone atleast 25mm up front and somethingin the back(i have 15mm)

I dont think so. The E39 has a rare center bore of 74.1mm. There are only a few BMW models with that size like the E70/F15 X5 and the F16 X6.

Ah ok, thats -30mm right? Was there any rubbing in combination with the spacers? I'm about to order a set also, and mine will be lowered -30f/-20r. Thinking of slapping a 10mm spacer on the rear also.

I believe that is the drop, yes. No fender rubbing with the spacers at all but the tire would touch the plastic liner inside the wheel well at full lock. No issues with that though.

I know. Exactly my thought when I got the car, came with a brand new set of these. To be honest, they were not bad for a cheap tire. I was pleasantly surprised with how they preformed even on the rain. I have changed wheels and tires since this video though.
