SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO PUT YOUR KEY IN IGNITION AND TURN IT TO THE ON POSITION SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE THE BUTTON PROCESS. i have a 2003 bmw z4 and everything he says to do is accurate except for i had to put my key in the on position and remove it several times and then I heard it make a beep that I have never heard before, then I took it back out and help the unlock button while pushing the lock button 3 times

This isnt key programming. It was already programmed by the dealer. All this doing is synchronising or re-pairing the remote part of the key to the car. Instructions for this are in the cars manual, I imagine.

Great vide and really clarifies the issue. I had a similar problem a few month ago, I had fuel pipes replaced by BMW Classic garage. Problem was they didn't tighten up the clips and I kept getting a smell of gas. I drove for 300 miles and eventually decided to figure out the problem - I'm not a mechanic but can use spanners. Anyway found the leak on the left hand side of of engine block where hose wasn't tightened and fixed the problem. However, a few weeks later I was still getting the fuel smell in the car. Did some more investigations and found it was the connection from pipes to rubber hoses on righthand side of engine. It was the plastic connectors. One of them had a slice across the ribs probably done when they were trying to get the hose off. It led to a very light spray. Got replacement from BMW and fixed myself and it runs well. Always check when a garage does work on your vehicle no matter how recommended they are. It's not their car, so they wont car as much as you do. Drive safely

This video helped me with the process on my 2000 E39 M5. The only noticeable difference for me was that the rear lights and pillars were clips vs bolts. Thank you friend!

Subscribed because I’ve got a ‘93 325i convertible. Having a fun time tinkering and driving. Looking forward to more content. Having some issues with my top at the moment. Wish I had a manual edition as the “automatic” is more trouble than it’s worth.

Can somebody provide the height of the box alone? I see that the product dimensions list as 37", but I'm not sure if that includes the 5" casters.

Hello I’m wondering how many hours these replacements took in total? And do you think it will be possible with the stock struts, being that the struts in stock suspension is longer than coil overs?

Why did you buy the generic rack in the first place and where did you buy it from? I am trying to source a Z3 one on eBay but I am not sure how to avoid the same mistake.
@NoGaragE304 ай бұрын
I just didnt know better and was trying to save some $. Bought it from buyautoparts.com - In hindsight I dont recommend anyone to bother with a generic rack. I really dont think it is worth it considering the effort it takes to replace if anything goes wrong. I have also heard many stories of these generic racks leaking after little use.

Nice tutorial. Some extras thrown in but didn’t drag on. Some people complain about ticking from injectors on these, easy to see how it would be difficult to know just by ear as they’re right beside the cams. Also realized from this I need to source that support bracket for my intake. Thanks.
