Thanks a lot for the effort in these vids. I'm surprised that there are not a high amount of views. The (Torolin?) video appeared in my recommendations and I initially assumed I was subbed. Glad I checked as you have top shelf E39 vids. I'm now going to see just how difficult getting that Torolin stuff you used shipped to California. I can't even get a 49 state catalytic converter shipped here. On amazon it tells me to use a "proper" address when attempting to buy a 49 (Federal) cat. Again, good stuff, well done,subbed.

Thanks for the positive feedback! The product is "Toralin Anticarbon" (feel free to enable subtitles when in doubt), but not sure if any seller would ship that to US. In your case, I would try to use ACDelco's X66P or 10-3015. Of course I cannot promise any results, but I would suggest not to leave it in the cylinders for too long (30 minutes max) and do an oil change afterwards. About the cat issue, I really could not be of much help, but I would check this: Are "CA approved" cats are any different? If they are, will the car still pass the emissions test in CA on a fed cat? And of course, what made the cat go bad in the first place (if it is the oil burning in there or running rich, you need to fix that first!).

Obviously I can only guess. But I would start with checking the microswitch on the bottom side of the mirror.

Hallo, tolle Anleitung allerdings habe ich nicht herausfinden können an welche Kabel Sie die Stromdiebe angeschlossen haben also am Kabelbaum könnten Sie das genauer beschreiben? Abo habe ich dagelassen Glocke ist Aktiviert ich freue mich schon auf weitere E39 Videos!👍🏽 Danke!

Hallo, hier habe ich ein Foto gefunden: www.bmwgm5.com/E38_E39_PM-FT.htm Da sieht man welche Stecker X887 und X1129 sind. Dann einfach das weiße, blaue (Pins 10 und 1 auf X1129) und braune (Pin 2 auf X887) Kabel herausfinden. Neue E39 Videos kommen noch!

Hello hope you can help me I know it’s an old upload but I’ve done as you have shown everything works as it showed but when I try to adjust driver side mirror for down and right it folds the mirrors what could be wrong solders ? Or I re assembled it wrong?

Take the relay out of equation - disconnect it, then try to adjust the mirror again. If they are still folding you probably soldered something that you shouldn't have. If they are not folding you can try to adjust them, reconnect the relay, and live with it :)

@@ProperRepair yes by removing the relay it works and I re checked the soldiers I only solder it where you have shown . And I checked with a multi meter everything else is fine could it be the module itself?

It is obviously very difficult to diagnose this via texting, but it seems that when adjusting the mirror the relay is somehow energised.

I have the exact same problem. If it helps, the PN for my door module is 6904339 Hw 10 sw 11
