BMW E39 M5 DCT Track Car Donington 20 July 2021 Opentrack Track Days

Welcome to the first track session in months - Due to Covid and a lack of flywheel!
We're at Donington Park in the glorious sunshine and melting our tits off!
The DCT converted M5 is out for testing after some aero upgrades over the downtime and a brand new sprung hub flywheel from AdamAT.
The evening was a broad success with only some mapping issues for the gearbox to adjust for the next session.

that was me who span the silver M3! Was very lucky to not end up int he wall!

It certainly is, infact, mechanically it would be almost an identical job as the M62 and S62 share the same base block. Would I recommend it, not a chance. Stay with the 420G or 5HP.
