Wow,daß mit der Platine (DME) hast prima gemacht u war mir neu,daß mans so machen kann!elektrik u Softwaregeschichten sind auch nicht so mein Gebiet,habs mehr mit mechanischen Teilen!Dein Vorgehen ist genial u wie kommst dazu,machst was Ähnliches beruflich?nochmal danke fürs teilhaben lassen - eigentlich solltest paar Mark dafür kriegen!aja,grad sagst das es Deine Leidenschaft ist u nt beruflich ,diese Frage zieh ich quasi zurück.Manchmal wärs gut,wenn ich bevor was zu kommentieren erstmal ein Video fertig schauen würd.doch das mit der Software hat mich geflasht u musst ich gleich mit Schreiben loslegen...Da Du sowas nt beruflich machst, ist der ganze Umbau natürlich doppelt so cool wie eh schon u bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass ich bei mir auch nochmal einen mache.In meinem Fall ist es ein Touring aus 98 und der braucht leider wirklich einen Turbo...

Ha ha....Danke. das ist nur Hobby für mich (elektronische Sache uwm) aber mache ich gerne. Ich habe alles selber gelernt aber ich habe auch viele Autos repariert (mechanische und elektrische Sache ) und habe ich bisschen Erfahrung

But nothing replaces your experience. One thing is to see it done and learn in theory, another one is doing it on 1 car, then another , 1 and another 1 etc... specialising in what is becoming quite certainly a cult car. Get the Project Management Flow on paper, a comprehensive list of parts and sell the kit on ebay, there is no-one with a comprehensive offering around turbocharging e39s.... You could be cultivating a know-how that is not out there, next thing you know you could have a waiting list of people willing to pay. Culturally nobody has bothered putting turbos in e39s, and there are plenty around that would like to give a second breath to their old school Bimmer as opposed to the piece of computerised crap they sold after that. :)) My ideal car would one an M5 Touring, that doesn't exist, but like that, and adding nice Bilstein in the front with maybe an 18 staggered setup and a nice exhaust it would look good. Either as an SE sleeper or with a Alpina/Sports ancillaries... Along those lines learn to do a manual swap, that would also be in high demand as well....

HELLO, I'M DONE WITH MY TURBO PROJECT PROJECT. E39 530I (STOCK) 8PSI. I DON'T HAVE A LAPTOP OR KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT TUNING. CAN I TAKE MY CAR TO A SHOP TO TUNE ? CAN THE OEM ECU BE TUNED? OR DO I NEED TO PURCHASE AN AFTERMARKET ECU ?

If you have a ms43 dme (ecu) you can use yours. It might be done the others as well but there is no support for what I know...or go to a tuner for a new flash on your ecu and you're done! Anyway congrats on your build

WHAT ABOUT YOUR 02 SENSORS ? I HAVE THE SAME ENGINE 2 BEFORE THE CAT & 2 AFTER THE CAT. MY DOWNPIPE ONLY HAS THE WIDEBAND. NO 02 SENSORS. HOW DID YOU GET PASS THE 02 ? WAS THE CAR RUNNING WEIRD.

You have to delete the o2 sensors after the cats. Use the first ones and the wideband. Or send me a PM on social media for more details
