Great to see the process end to end. How did it turn out-- did you get a measurable performance boost? Did you need to remap to take advantage of the extra air from the turbo?

The power gain was aprox 100 hp more and yes I had to flash the dme with new software (settings) to now that it has a turbo

No way id of used that engine mount without Atleast welding and bracing it. How long did it take to snap?

This was just for test purposes in order to fit everything in there....it won't snap because it was cut exactly were the reinforced part is on the back you can see that but very good point and observation 👍

Turbo won't boost in neutral, you have to drive it and put a load on the engine. This build should be called e39 turbo build eBay special " 🤣

look at the temp gauge. it is above the blue part, witch means that the engine is no more cold. but very good point. thx for watching.
