Engine refuses to spin higher revs. Adding gas causes an error and engine fault light comes on. If it lights up while driving, it is not possible to continue driving. In this case, when I turned off the engine, it was working normally after restarting. It wasn't always like that

Mine did the exact same thing, I suspect it was a sticky throttle flap.......... I also noticed a continuous zinging sound coming from the throttle body too. I unplugged the wire plug on the throttle body a couple of times and pushed the throttle flap to open it a bit and must unstuck it..... anyway after doing all of that my car started normally with no EML, DSC or brake lights flashing and engine power were back to normal, maybe I were just lucky, I hope this will be of some help.

Was the valvtronic motor the problem? I have the same issue now couple of days. Did you also disconnect the icv connector ? I get this when i disconnect it and car stalls often

You can just disconnect the valvetronic sensor (eccentric shaft sensor) car should run fine.

@@ovidiucrista5251 hi dear, sorry for my late answer. The problem is solved. I have replaced the chain and vanos solenoids. First is dead the chain because there was a slag in it. Buth the problem of my was very diffrent then this one. I had a stalling engine after couple seconds driving sometimes couple of minuta. This all began after changing the vanos solenoids rubber o rings and cleaning it. So never clean your vanos solenoids!!!!! I replaced it after the chain and problem was solved. But a had also a faulty crankshaft sensor. I did it al in steps. 1. Cranksensor 2. Chain. Complete with modefided chain tensioner. 3. Replaced 2 vanos solenoids. The last was the important one togethger with the cranksensor. Hope this info will give you some knowlegde

I have the same issue on my BMW 328i 2007 i got VVT fault codes and Eccentric shaft sensor code but I replaced the VVT and I am still having the same issues what could it be ? I uploaded a video of it on my page pls help car is in Limp mode now

Czyli jeśli jeżdżę codziennie do pracy i z pracy i wszystko gra ,a gdy pojadę dalej po zgaszeniu silnika i ponownym zapaleniu wyskakuje eml i auto traci moc Nie chcę się wkręcać zbytnio na obroty..a później postoi znów kilka h .i znów jest ok..to jest napewno oznaką zepsutego servomotoru?tego okrągłego silniczka który jest zamontowany na pokrywie zaworów?

Hola yo tengo este mismo problema ya cambié el valvetronix pero sigue el mismo problema al parecer el problema es corriente los dos cables del bar beltronic tiran señal negativa no tiene corriente alguien me puede ayudar
