BMW E46 BUSINESS CD accessory AUX plug for iPhone and Android

One of the best fixes so far is putting in this AUX port so I can stream music and audio books in my E46 BMW on the BMW BUSINESS CD. Super easy to do. It seems however that the earlier E46 radios are not able to except this aux cable. I have read that the radios from 2005 onward work well with this cable. It didn't work on my 2002 330i Business CD. If you don't have a newer version, swapping out the radio/cd unit is VERY easy, and you can pick up a newer stereo from a wrecker or 3rd party reseller cheap enough. I much prefer the factory look and style to a flashy new head unit, so now I get the modern feature of playing streaming music on my iPhone on my original CD player / radio.

I've purchased the same setup for my 05 e46 with the same radio. I'm just wondering if it added the aux option to the mode button when you hook the unit up cuz my radio mode button goes from am/fm to cd and that's it. I was just wondering if you knew anything about it. But honestly I have purchased another completely different setup too it just won't be here for another month or so and it seems easy enough to do it twice with no prob just to see if I can get some music!!! Thanks for the video and the wire feed was a good idea instead of through the glove box like everyone else.......it does I've hooked it up and I'll post everything you need to get it done...it goes from radio to cd and straight to whatever is plugged into the 3.5 mm aux cable so just plug it in your phone open KZbin or Pandora and jam

Adapter kit plus atleast a 5 ft 3.5 mm male to male aux cord and a couple tricks and that's it

There's a lot of them out there but please buy the adapter kit that has the module on it they sell adapter kits that have a module on them and then a red and black wire that you have to wire hot wire yourself or hardwire yourself I'd stay away from that one I'll send you the link in the one that you need to buy for your car if it's a E46 2000 to 2005 model I think with the business radio
