I am curious about one thing I bought a 323 Ci about two weeks ago, when lock the doors, a red light flashes under my rear view mirror, but I don't get a chirp or anything. Could it have been disconnected?

You have to code that function. With NCSExpert or Pasoft.

04 325xi dumped so much money in this car . But I love it so much ! the engine hums , the Harmond Kardon sound system is out of this world every time I turn around a bulb out light is on , 12 years with her 222k and still rolling

Hi dear I own a BMW 2005 3 SERIES I DONT HAVE A MANUAL FOR MY CAR , MY QUESTION HOW DO I FIND OUT IF IT A E46 ? Ect ..and I bought the car used its showing 124852 kilometers how do I find out if this is the actual milage?

@@ellenscott8469 what do you mean by IF IT A E46? You can take the car to a mechanic or get a OBDII WIFI adapter and the Carly for BMW app on your phone, it has an option to check for manipulated kms. Tje car also has a red dot next to the km counter if it was manipulated, though I think it is possible to disable that if done by a professional. Anyways, check the OBD or drive to any mechanic, they all have OBD reading devices, it will surely be able to tell you if the kms are legit.

BMW has some cons like all the man-made things in the world, I wish they'll use more and more of the great designers and artists; maybe some of those are not yet identified. ;)

Lil tip from when I had a e46 coupe. If you double press the unlock button an straight away open drivers door the window will roll down so you can get in the car easier if some douche has parked too close to you ;-

sammee lmaooo🤣🤣 every time i see another e46, I feel like i'm missing like half the features, my moonroof broke doors don't lock needs new key, my drivers side window won't go down automatically but otherwise the windows work fine, unless you're counting the side mirrors that don't adjust anymore and are stuck in an awkward angle or the moonroof that's uneven and definitely not sealed but somehow hasn't leaked in a year and a half in florida so????? love my e46 lmao

You can open the trunk without the key by holding the handle a few seconds, if the car is unlocked.

I've had my car now 6 months and its great in truth I only just found the first aid box myself lol. but the coolant system is a common problem and needs constant top ups.

You may need a coolant expansion tank reservoir. A common failure, as are window regulators (try not to slam the doors) and control arm bushings (a wear item that when replaced makes the car steer like new!). Be sure you use BMW approved oil and keep it full. Using a Qt. every 2k is not uncommon for high mileage, 150/200k, motors. Always remember your brakes are among the strongest on the road so leave plenty of room with the car ahead of you so you don't have to panick stop and cause the car behind you to hit you...(Because you know how jealous drivers always tailgate better cars...lol) Be safe, have fun and Lead, Follow or get out of the way...

Had my BMW for years, 2001 model, 320d time to look for a new one soon but not buying a diesel again as new ones have this crappy dpf filter and if you do low miles it keeps clogging up and you have to keep paying all the time to get it unblocked.

I m looking to buy a e46 coupe, in a private sale. I look on Craigslist, cargurus, and cars.com. I find only a few cars within a 150 miles of my location, and the ones I do find have very high miles. Why are the e46 coupes seem so rare. They were a very well selling model in its day??

I hear so much bulshit about the repair that is needed on my car. after I have replace the parts that they say need to be replaced them motherfukers a bulshit. Very informative, but the problem I had is my key died and had no way of charging it and the car was left unlocked. Now it's sorted after spending £140 for a new key. No key no access to the boot!!

You can just hold the trunk handle for a few seconds and it will open automatically if car is unlocked.
