Hey man are you using the factory 5 speed or a zf 6 speed and if so how is it going as ive heard the getrag 250g arent all that good for holding torque and can blow syncos how hard do you shift it and have you had any problems with it?

I use 5 speed ZF box. All it sees is abuse, clutch kicks, even shift locks from time to time lol. No issues whatsoever.

@@jajex6071 yeah, considering driveline losses 480whp and 550bhp(at engine) are somewhat around logical. In Lithuania like 3 drifters run identical setup for their drift cars. M54b30 decompression head gasket, headstuds. And turbo, which is maximally small for maintaining smallest spool as possible, but maintaining maximum hp for stock engine. Everyone knows torque brake engines not power, many BMW m50/52/54 holds upto 500nm, so it is a car which at 2.8 RPM has full boost and 450NM/2800-6500Rpm .beautiful flat of torque Through entire rev range. So it's a great setup without breaking engine, maximizing engine everywhere. They are beat at the revlimiter at 7k bashing through drift championships season and they just work. And considering how many people put Into JZs and all that, and stock engine with safety in mind just holds, it's wonderful. Also they use aftermarket ECU. It means they see everything, and control everything with flat boost line torque tends to fall off at the end, boost controller let's torque be flat, by raising boost at top, and staying low boost down low to prevent overtorqing engine

Power startata to slightly drop after ~6100rpm In my build with 54mm turbo so rpm limit 6800 should be enough, bigger camshafts maybe would help power curve staying at max when revving really high rpm
