I got my e46 down to a 13.2@106mph fbo n/a. After the turbo it did 11.7 @131mph

You Absolutely should have done a manual swap with 325 or 330 trans so you don't have any problems in adaptatiom

I am an E46 tuner and that is something I'm currently looking into as well there's some kind of safety switch that will not allow the car to rev while the brake is applied

Apparently the ECU does that when it detects certain faults (like a faulty MAF). I've been told that you can disconnect the brake pedal input from the ECU, and it'll disable that. But I don't know if that will affect something else.

I like the Insight! Looked like good launches!

That Insight was insane! It had the "full race car" treatment, and a heavily modded J-series V6. It was doing high 9's that day (in the 1/4 mile).

reaction time too would get you into the 13s. second to last race your RT was almost perfect but like you said the tranny was giving out.

Yes. I can also tune the cam timing.

The plan is to turbocharge it. But first I need a gearbox that can handle it.

How much ignition you are running? Ron98 map has some play.

The spark and fuel maps are still stock. But you have a point, there's probably some gains to be had.

@@michaelblacktree theres some but way less than whit b22 and b25, if you are running catless and dont aim for emission controll whit vanos via internal egr controll, you could just set exhaust valve to open early too.

Bau dir ein M3 Lenkrad ein, schließ die Wippen an, spiel die Alpina Software auf das EGS und nimm die Wandlerüberbrückung zurück. Dann Schaltet er schneller mit dem 5HP19 das bringt dich nach vorne

The EGS already has the Alpina software. I made the Alpina changes to the DME as well. But the gearbox is worn out.

when you cant brake and gas simultaniusly its because of the maf
