The only thing that sucks about all Alcantara steering wheels is if you want them to last long, you MUST always were driving gloves otherwise that shit start to break down and peel over time due to our natural hand oils and sweat we leave in the steering wheel.

How has it held up over time? I'm on the fence of trading in my '97 Lexus LS400 for a convertible '04 330ci (yes, out of the frying pan into the fire, I know). I would like to know what the most costly repairs have been for you.

Bulletproof engines if well taken care of, of course there are some issues here and there, mostly valve cover gasket leaks (nothing major). In my ownership maybe the biggest job I did was the VANOS rebuild with the anti-rattle kit.

Nope Automatic m3 e6 are more rare because in Europe we prefer manual so Bmw made more manual car than automatic

since when? one of the upgrades of the zhp was from the 5 speed to the short throw 6 manual transmission. I owned one brand new.

The 2003 model was only available in a 6-speed (Getrag) manual transmission (GS6-37BZ, part number 23007532498). From 2004 to 2006, the ZHP was available in a 6-speed manual transmission and automatic transmissions.
