This video details how to remove the OE Navigation system from a E53 X5 as well as the process and procedure for replacing a defective LCD screen. My screen had some dead pixels on it, that is why I replaced it.
This will also work on any similar model BMW that has an MKX nav computer, typically found in the E38, E39, E46, E86, E85 and E83 cars.
