this is a video i made showing the installation of the AUX cable I made on my 2004 e60 BMW 5 series. this should apply to all e60 BMWS. now in this install i already pre-routed (or pre-wired) my AUX cable from my glovebox to the back of the dash. their so many different places to put the Aux jack, i would leave it up to you to figure that out, long as it routes back to the back so the pins can be installed on the harness. the car will need to be coded in order for the cable to work. i programed the car myself with NCSexpert and a programing cable i purchased off ebay.

I got my aux cable off this guy and fitted it myself just by following the steps in his video. Also coded my car by watching the coding video he has put up. Brader Musiki parrot Bluetooth would only tap into power. It wouldn't plug into your aux plugs. The parrot only works off FM transmitter.

Hi I bought your cable you made where it has a black red and white wire. To confirm: Red goes to pin 7. White goes to 2 Black goes to 8? For the the bluetooth portion.... white + violet#13 is the power wire so your red spade terminal splices into it Brown wire #12 to is the negative/ground so your black spade terminal splices into it

depending on the cable i send, which i ALWAYS label with a tag, and also printed instrctions red- 7 white- 2 and black -8, if the cables are red,black,green its red-7 black-2 green -8, all the cables i sell are ALWAYS labeled next to the pins so you can always see where to put them.

ok I gotta buy a new CCC (CD/DVD) unit, looks like I need the screen to, sorry to slam you with questions, but if you can provide a contact for a pre programmed CCC it would be great, I can't live without sound. 04 530i looks just like one in video, aux is an option on screen when it works

The screen won't be the issue just the CCC unit. Best place is ebay see if you can purchase from a seller who can preprogrammed it. I have a source who can possible get you one send me an email I will send you his contact

roskinc [e-mail]. I just realized I have no more door chime anymore either, all this happened after I reinstalled my CCC after checking fan on back, checked radio fuse, checked module in trunk. I did hardwire the fan because the plug in harness broke. Ill just try a new CCC I guess

my car originally didnt come with navigation/aux, i added everything. you will need new 8.8" screen, CCC unit, front bezel, gps antenna, and coding.

Rafael nunez did you add the wires to existing plug or disconnect one that was already in there and plugged in a new one? Aux connects to Current connector if theirs already one inside.

Rafael nunez you must be using a OEM cable or a cable that isn't mine. Other cables out there have low bass and low volume.

Question for everyone on here , I realize this is an older video. Without taking the CCC out, how will I know if I already have that plug connector in the main harness or not? I’ve seen videos where some guys have to buy the aux cable with the white/black plastic connector because nothing is plugged in. Some are just buying the aux cable without the connector and pinning it into the main connector

I plugged the cable directly but it didn’t work! Is there another way of doing it? And where did my original harness go?! 😅

on the mask, the plug would be on the button than as on my video, it will still look at the same just revered...and how did it not plug into the harness? i never ran into a situation where it did not plug in or fit. email me i can help you out, but maybe your missing a harness plug?

Not trying to discredit your work but u could get those fm transmitters go to radio tune to the station you set and aux off your phone and same rule applies

Of course you can do that but do you know how bad of quality that sounds?? Then you have this huge bulk fM transmitter on your 12v plug. Do it the right way.

Brader Musiki you must be connecting to the wrong connector I've worked on tons of e60 and they all have the same wiring harness, search the e60 harness their all the same.

I'm thinking to purchase those Aux Cable + bluetooth kits for E60 from Aliexpress for my 540i 2006 BMW ,please advice me on this. My bmw does not have AUX port, no USB port .It has bluetooth available but not for playing music ,but only for calls and syncing contacts , car runs with 1st Gen CCC operating system. in this video i have the CCC unit with naviagtion, newer videos i have CIC which is found on 2010 e60. not possible with firmware update, need to actually replace the units. my newer videos explain it.

I know this is a late reply but you CAN use this software on Mac. You will need to use a program like parrells to run windows within Mac.

It's fine now I've found out that because I have the multi disc in the glovebox that is why the connector is fully populated

No, you have to choose between the multi disc OR aux

Multi disc (6 disc cd changer) and aux are connected in completely different ways you CAN have both aux and cd charger, cd changer works off fiber optic and the aux cable is directly connected. Every e60 has the harness for it, you add the aux cable to the existing plug.

my factory radio in my e60 doesn't work, screen reboots etc. sometimes works when cold. I seen these aftermarket radios called dynavin, etc. do I need to fix my CCC DVD CD first? or can I just plug and go? like would it work if the CD DVD section wasn't even there? I Know this is the wrong video but I wanted to ask you because I like your posts

Yes you'll need to fix it first for everything to work. If you just install that unit without fixing the module, you'll only be able to use the unit, but sound or anything won't work, so it would be pretty useless.

I have OEM CD changer in gloves box and I want to replace cd changer for Aux input. will you tell me how do i do this? can connect the aux cable directly to cd changer socket after i remove the unit?

Cd works off fiber optics aux does not. Removing the cd changer will not let you install aux plus and play, works separately and connects different parts. Many people think you can either have cd changer or aux this is NOT true, you can have both.
