7,7 seconds is worst 535d result what i have seen. With no chip it could be 6,5 seconds as usual and 6,2 as lucky chance. But 550i is best, i use it since 2014.

2years ago I looked for 535d e60 and when i try drive 2 cars I thinking it's not my dream.then i try 550i and now I'm happy owner 550i alpinweis e60 amazing car ever. Maybe one day I will rich and then buy m5 v10 engine. Regards for bmw owner's

The 550i sound it's amazing, but with a hibrid turbo 535d running around 440bhp will rip off 550i, it's very close to m5. Plus 535d will recover the investment for monds in no time only from gas mileage, comparing with a 550i wich it's thirsty asf.

Yeah but that V8 simply touches the soul ! It's just special. Plus, the tuned diesel will always break something.

You coud easly tune the 535d to 350hp wit only a remap and it will be the same plus you could mount a bigger intercooler and a hybrid turbos and it will be 420-440hp with still far better fuel economy than the 550i. Not to mention that valvetronic system in the 550i which often breaks and two acentric shafts costs as much as a whole 535d engine. And what will u do in a 550i, change the whole intake and exhaust just to add 15hp?, 550i is only the sound.

It's a no sense battle. A 5000 turbo petrol vs a 3500 turbodiesel..,286 vs 367 hp...it's 80 more hp....so what? Try to make it with the same power...than we'll talk guys.

Biggie, deine Musik ist klasse aber 50-60kg machen bei dem Gesamtgewicht nicht so viel aus :) Der 535d in dem Video hat einfach nicht die Fahrleistungen, die ein normaler 535d haben sollte

Da sieht man mal wieder wie lame Diesel oben rum sind, ich halte ja mit meinem 525i bei den ganzen 3.0 Diesel, auf der Autobahn, stressfrei mit :-)

@@MrMasterBSK BMW E61 525i 192PS 100-200 25.03 sec, Mercedes W212 E350 CDI 100-200 28,34, Audi A6(C6) 3.0 TDI 100-200 29,61sec, BMW E61 530D 218PS 100-200sec 24,71sec, alle mit Dragy gemessen und alle Serienzustand. Ab 200 kann der Saugmotor seine höhere Drezahl nochmehr ausspielen, da lässt man den Diesel definitiv stehen.

@@carstonmotives naja versteh mich nicht falsch.Der R6 ist ein guter Motor.Aber Potenzial und vor allen Dingen Verbrauch /Leistung ist ein Diesel Top.Den besseren Sound hast du natürlich.By the way Ich fahre einen 123d Stage1.Der geht circa 16 sek. 100-200.
