BMW e60 won't start, no click, no crank, no codes, push button start does nothing! quick fix found!

I just hate it when my e90 stranded me the other day and then the next day my e60 won't start. It was completely find the other day when I was driving it. No signs of weak battery or issues. I scan the codes when it doesn't want to start and no codes showed up until I tried the IBS connector.
BMW just can't be trusted, the parts just will randomly die on you.. even if you have a spare.

3 days ago my E60 523i had the same problem after driving in heavy rain and through some light flooding at full speed, after stopping in the parking lot for 1 hour I tried to start it couldn't, finally I saw where the battery had water seeping from the body vent, then I try opening your youtube and following how to remove the blue cable and return home safely after going through a fairly long road jam, then until the cable house is installed again and until now with the cable position installed it is still safe to start. I had the same on a 2017 F15 X5. The mechanic said it put itself in transfer mode and was draining up to 18A of battery charge. The transfer mode was disable and problem disappeared. It took 4 mechanics and nearly 2 weeks in the shop to reach this conclusion.

So just pulling random fuses and wires....a lot of "I don't knows" going on. Maybe you should "know " what you're doing and maybe your car wouldn't be breaking down. This Def is a "user malfunction " rather than a mechanical one. Ignorance is bliss.

I never put mine back in :) if you want to then you need to replace the sensor (BIS) which is around $100.

You need it plugged in the sensor tells the computer how much voltage too send back to the battery too keep it charged correctly too avoid over charging or under charging the battery. The computers in the car rely on the battery to produce correct amount of current for the car too function at its best.
