How did you open the back glass if the switch didn’t work?

I found a position on the latch were it worked but normally you have to brake the electrical lock which I've done the second time...and buy a new one. You can see the process in part 3 from playlist

Amazing work. How thick is the cable you added to the rear wiring? I need to do mine but want all the new cable to hand before starting

Thank you. Not exactly sure how thick the wires are, I had at home the same thickness wires. But you have to use the same thickness wires otherwise you wcan have resistance problems. If you search online you can find wire loom repair set (kit) exactly for the E61. Aprox 30 $

If it's in auto mode will work only on night time. Just turn the light indicator to park or low beam and shoud work

There's every second bimmer older than 10 y has a 500K-1mln millage in my town. :)) Trash on wheels.

In Germany aprox every one that has over 300.000 k is scraped or sold in other countries. What I've bought now feels like trash on wheels! 😂
