Part 7 Retrofitting Night Vision system
Here you can see how I mounted the night vision system, the wiring was installed at the beginning of these video series
The night vision system is a special device that contains security codes that cannot be generated yet, the only solution to activate this system is with an activator

I assume u must of retrofitted some of the wires before the video .as i didnt see you running the cvbs wire from the nivi module to the navi module green plug but do see you inserting it into the green plug of the navi .or the wire from nivi module to light switch for activation signal or the wiring of the nivi module inside .pressume u have used a can emulator to get it to work .very good install pal

The night vision in E series looks cool but does very little in terms of safety. The only thing it does is the video feed, that too off center from your line of vision, nothing else. Who drives a car looking to the center of dashboard, that too at nights. They got better in F series and onwards where it alerts for objects and even apply emergency braking. In my opinion, this is just a show off in E series models. But ACC/ACC2 are real useful features to have if you can find all the stuff for retrofit purposes.

Do you have an opinion on polishing the camera's glass lens? Will it improve the image clarity or contrast? Will polishing remove a coating on the outside of the lens that serves a purpose? Thanks in advance.

Hello, yes you can polish it but be careful, the image will improve drastically if the lens is very rough, and of course will lose the protectie layer but if is in rough shape there is no more layer

Salut! nu se poate inregistra deoare-ce acest lucru nu e necesar, Night Vision inseramna vedere pe timp de noapte si asta e si scopul acestui sistem... pe timp de noapte vei putea vedea ori-ce fiinta vie de la distante foarte mari ceia ce posibil cu ochiul liber nu se poate vedea, cel mai importanti sunt pietoni , poti cauta chair si aici pe KZbin informatii despre ce face si la ce foloseste!

Salut, e destul de scump , depinde cu cat gasesti piesele cat iti ia cel care le monteaza / codeaza , ca sa afli un pret mai intai trebuie sa gasesti pe cineva care iti poate face montajul

the most valuable features in my BMW E60 HUD ACTIVE CRUISE TV Active Side Bracket Vent Seats not useful gadgets: Night Vision - is too far from a driver's view, the picture quality is poor, during rain not working, Germanium Lens is very fragile after a few years lens is cracked and need to be replaced (picture quality is even worst). due to above i would like to say, Night vision was just a gadget which was not useful for me
