That sheathing coming off b+, right next to your drill extension was scary haha. Hope u had the battery disconnected

Yeah the battery is always disconnected whenever I work on this car.

The same thing just happen to me but my bolt is in the middle of the value cover at the back how can I get that one out

I would remove all the cowl pieces and twist the motor up the same way. If that don't work then I'd pull the head and do all of them with time serts. These helicoils pulled out.

What size of heli coil did you use 🤔 mines is only in the front luckily just one

M7x1.0 is the sized needed and to tap for it is m8x1.0 I did have one pull out twice on me though from not getting deep enough before the center tab broke so in the spring I'm going to remove them and use time serts due to being solid

@Barrett Garage sounds good thank you I just purchased a 08 328i for 1k 153k miles needed a valv cover and I did torque them all to 9-10ftlb than when I was trying to torque one it just didn't want to come to find out the bolt threads were gone
