The only reason we didn't pop out the lower trim parts was because when we pulled them off on another e90, it literally took hours to put back in because the part that held the trim was all messed up. We weren't trying to have that happen again haha.

Using knifeless tape may have made it so u dont have to take the mirror off? Im not 100% sure though

Not necessarily, with the mirror still attached, it would've been hard to lay and stretch the vinyl piece. The mirror wasn't removed just to make cutting easier but also to make the application easier. Knifeless tape would have definitely made the job easier. It was stressful using the knife so close to the tape.

AC Auto dude i just finnished achrome delete 2 hours ago and didnt take the mirror off.. wow was that a beech. I will definitely need to next time
