2010 Model Ford Focus The menu / adjustment button on the turn signal arm does not work. Other functions are intact. Where do you think I should look for the problem. Thank you.

Look at live data... see if you can see where that signal goes, and if is being generated correctly... could still be an internal fault... 👍👍👍

@@LMAutoRepairs I bought a new signal arm and it didn't work either. I checked the signals. There is, but I get a u1900 communication error on the instrument panel. I will remove the panel and check again. Thanks for your answer. I like and follow you.👍

I’d love to know what cas version was in that ? Must of been an early one to do it via obd with no additional power supply , do a cas 3++ via obd and your gonna brick the vehicle

@@LMAutoRepairs f13 maybe a fem or cas 4 ?? I never do any bmw via obd too many scare story’s on bricking units so they all get done on the bench , I do believe autel im608 has some sort of recovery mode for bricked cas units (I’m not sure as I don’t use autel )

Yes it does... I had a scary one with on a Junction Box module... Autel managed to bring it back to life...😊 I do bench as well if really necessary...😋 👍👍👍

Hi Kwy battery? Have you checked that the key is transmitting? Also, have you used the correct frequency key fob? 👍👍👍

@@LMAutoRepairs yes, new used unlocked key is 315mhz just like the others, is it possible that the launch scanner didn’t do a good job and the scanner is the one at fault?

Can I ask where you bought yr 608 from. I've had a look online and the "official" price for it with all the add-ons is £3800 and the same from obdprice with the June discount is £2629. (608, XP400 Pro, key simulator, GBOX2 and the impka kit. The 608 doesn't even look like it's on sale from Autel UK 🤷 Could just do with a heads up from someone that's got one 👍

When I bought my one, I only bought the IM608 and the XP400pro... for warranty purposes etc... The G-box and the adaptors I bought on ebay if I recall correctly... 👍👍👍

For no reason really... the IM608 on diagnostics seems pretty much the same as the MS908P... I usually grab the MS908P as is more worn etc... that's all... 👍👍👍

I haven't used it too much for diagnostics, but the times I did, it looked identical to the MS908P... So, short answer is yes... 👍👍👍

Hi Luis ,purchaced an aftermarket key but the frequancy is 433 instead of my originál 868 ,can that be fixed?

Some keys have a resistor inside that you can change its position in order to change the frequency... if is an aftermarket key... I never tried it though, so can guarantee it will work! Otherwise, get the correct key for the veichle... 👍👍👍

Hey. Great content. 👍. I did a 2018 bmw fem and after programming the key starts the car most of the time and the remote never worked. Any thoughts. Did you ever experienced something like that. Could it be the wrong key but I checked frequency and it's the same. Any help would be great 👍 thanks.

Some aftermarket keys can behave strangely... Once programmed successfully, either will work or not... not mid term... I would suspect of the key... 👍👍👍

Theoretically no... Some keys however, can be blanked, and used again... But other than that, used keys are programmable only once... 👍👍👍

The coil in the ignition powers the key transponder, enough for the key to transmit the necessary data... Inductive power basically... Just like wireless charging on mobile phones, etc... 👍👍👍
