if you erased by mistake you can reprogram it but if it's from other car you need to unlock or buy a new one

Hi, I noticed when you pressed they key buttons on the fob, it didnt lock or unlock, I am having the same issue after programming a new used oem key. I can start the car with the key inserted but the buttons on the fob dont do anything. Did you get that working on this vehicle?

I use my autel im608pro2 to add keys to cars, I bought two keys from my usual key provider and I just normally code them to the car that I by them for but I am trying to code a key to a 2024 range rover sports, the keys are the same frequency and style but when it ask me to hold the key in had then to press any button it never read the kesy, I bought 2 more keys and it is the same results, i then decided to read the keys in the programer and I notice the keys say lock on them even tho they are brand new, how do I unlock the keys, I know how to do it with bmw keys and benz key but I don't see any option for range rover so I am wondering if I need to plug on to the car before I can do so? As for bmw and benz, you don't have to be plugged on to a car to unlock the key, so that's the reason I am asking to see if I can get some answers?

I have never unlocked keys on that year maybe you are doing a step wrong and other thing is most of the new cars from 2021 and up now need internet access to program keys basically you need permission from the dealership to do it

@JVFIXLLC I think it is just the keys that I bought is the proble, I had strong internet and I even reprogram the range rover and kick out the key that came with it and program it back and it work but the key I bought it is saying it is already program to a nex car but I think it is because they kesy are lock and not saying unlock. To be helpful you need to show the whole process including how to copy the eeprom dump from CAS

Hello my friend, I have an original key for a 2007 BMW 7 Series that was removed from the traffic record. Is there a way to unlock it and program it on my other car, knowing that my car has the smart keyless entry feature, and the key I want to program is from another car with the same specifications I haven't found anyone who can unlock and program this type of key

yea it is possible to unlock it but u need the special tool from xhorse is called VVDI key tool and its a really good too also not to expensive it's about 300 bucks but it does key unlock frequency reader and chip cloning. these are many reviews on KZbin just type vvdi key tool and you will see many reviews

not all bmw keys can be unlocked some some type of keys. what year and model keys u have
