Maciej your an hero and saved me money also the module comes apart easily i dried mine out on a radiator , sprayed with WD put it back in and it run again.

thanks Maciej, had the same issue but my plug is also waterlogged and corroded. as for the leak I've still not found the source but will try the filler cap. my Parking modual and the other plug was also under water...

Piero Tozzi mine is waterlogged too and corroded I got all new parts from bmw getting replaced now. Did you have overheating issues with your module?

I bought a new part that was pre-programmed for $60 and it worked...the whole removal and install took approximately 20mins.

I just fixed mine.....bought a part that was already programmed and it worked like a charm - just plug and play!

@@faeloficial5005 yes it is HELBAKO EKPM3 (558921 10) - for my 2012 F10 528i; I actually initially ordered the wrong one for $40 (one for the model year prior model, which also worked - plug and play - but with an error on the screen when even I shut the car off; I drove it like that for a year before reordering another used correct one, which resolved that error message). Goodluck.

Just had the spillage , got the Fuel Supply error , then the Drivetrain error aka Limp mode , reached home . stopped it and after the restart it didn t show up anymore . It scared the shit out of me because i didn t know that water had spilled ..

dont change the fuel pump, i changed mine and still have the code, next i will try to chnage the fuel pressure sensor.

Jesli masz dostep do laptopa z systemem windows oraz wejscie ethernet wystarczy kupic kabel typu ENET i ja moge zakodowac zdalnie. Mozesz mnie znalezc na facebooku wpisujac mcodingireland

@@topdawg7006 for F10 (2011-2016 5 series), its not under the back seat; it is in the proximal (closest) part in the trunk. The trunk floor mat has a crease, just bend and fold it backwards....and it is as described in further in the video.
