Last month I’d a trouble with my F30 and it was the HPFP, I’ve just changed from OEM to Bosch, and many of people around me said bosch isn’t good and it might be not work with my F30, After I changed it I got another code which is LPFP !. I don’t what should I do, I need your advice.

Hi mini F60 (B46 engine) The fuel rail pressure is always maintained at 19-20Mpa during idling or driving, and it consumes gasoline very much. Could this be a failure of HPFP's fuel quantity control valve?

I’ve got the new Bosch fuel pump and new connector. The new connector has a white wire and a white wire with a green stripe. The old connector has a red wire and a white wire. Which wires connect with one another?

I have a 2000 528 it , put a new fuel pump in. It's working but I have no pressure in the fuel rail going to replace the fuel line from the pump to the pickup on the top of the fuel pump assembly under the back seat. Hopefully that will solve the problem.

Very informative video. I have the exact make, model, and year. I have been dealing with the same code for quite some time now. I too have changed the low and high pressure fuel pump. I don’t know if something went wrong with connecting the new wiring harness, however I don’t know how to delete the adaption and reset it. I am still getting drivetrain malfunction with the same boost pressure code. Could you please provide assistance. Thank you so much.

Did you hand crank the engine to BTC before installing? Do you know if this would cause restart issues when the engine is warm? A rough idle for the first 5-10 seconds. Doesn’t do this when cold.

Would this cause the car to stall out randomly ? It only happens sometimes where I go to hit the accelerator and it stalls and won't turn back on for at least 10 to 15 mins help?

Its possible but you would want to use a scan tool to figure out for sure if its gone bad. We would also recommend checking the EKPS model as those have a tenancy to go bad as well.

Sub my 2012 528i keeps shitting off everytime I got to floor it can this be the reason??? It will say fuel system then drivetrain mal then completely stalls engine on the road!!!! AMD won't start for at least 30 minutes of sitting

Sounds like you should check your fuel pump control module too!

not properly done, why not torque the nuts to the specification. Why did you remove three fuses? 135, 138, 184 ?

No, it is not. The one on the 535i is under the intake manifold. It’s Not too hard to do.

What can cause a p0087 code on a 2012 528i?

Most any issue within the fuel delivery system can throw P0087. Along with the fuel pump, the EKPS module tends to go out as well. We would recommend a professional diagnostic to confirm. Without the proper scan tools its hard to diagnose.

If anyone is going to follow this video, don't forget a very important step in turning the camshaft to bottom dead center or you will snap the new fuel pump instantly.
