Is the car fine without the heat plate around the turbo?

I have never been driving without it, i think its not a clever idea to do its getting way to hot..

just buy a VW clip to put over it and the rattle is gone 👍

the clip doesn't help much, the trance is from the inside, I put it on my 116i car and it hasn't changed at all ...

@@hettmannsperger42 with running fine i mean 1 liter every 2k km i found the problem its a crack in the crannkshaft seal hard to get there but cheap to replace

Replaced it? Welnee man, gewoon een turbo clip van een VW monteren. Gaat al 150dkm goed bij mij.
