We're thrilled to finally unveil the wrap color of our beastly F30 Pro drift car build we had loads of guesses in the comments, but only one got it spot on! Huge congrats to the sharp-eyed fan who nailed the exact color. Watch the video to see if it was your guess and witness the reveal.
We're also taking the F80 M3, a street car we built for a friend, out for a spin. This project, a labor of love by Chris and Crickett, is a perfect blend of power and style, tailored for both performance and everyday driving. Especially with the HTG Diff controller!

We use to keep the dry ice in the bags and break it up into large chunks so you could rest it against curved panels. I like the heat trick though too. Wrap color came out DOPE! Great content, as always.

The cross hatched block off plates look mids and cricket coulda made that exhaust flow waaaay better using the 4” side and flattening it a bit to the 3” end lol. Looks like it goes from 2-1 way to tight before it opens back up to 3”

I drilled out a bunch of spot welds on my E90. I recommend hitting all of them with the center punch, and then pre drilling that spot with a really small drill bit. That will prevent the spot weld drill bit from walking. Also keep a shot glass full of oil on hand and keep dipping the spot-weld drill bit in it and your bit will last forever. Also if it's a good spot-weld drill bit, it will only drill as deep as the first layer of metal.

Hey Drift HQ, it would be cool if you did a series of videos about what to look for when buying a e36/46 to use for drifting. I started my search 3 weeks ago and I’ve found like 7-8 clapped out 36s and 46s in my area. They’re all priced surprisingly low, but my problem is that I don’t know how clapped is TOO clapped. I plan to strip swap out the suspension and drivetrain to make it into my first drift car so I’m looking at mostly non-running cars, but is there certain things that will end up being super costly/time consuming if they’re wrecked or missing on the car when I buy it?

Milwaukee makes a battery powered bandfile that makes removing spot welds much easier

With the JDM car prices being out of control, this is the next best logical solution. Doesn't hurt that the market is flooded with F chassi bimmers. Corvettes, mustangs and camaros will be getting alot of attention to in the upcoming years.

With the traction control button close to the handbrake lever and just unlocking the diff in 1 press. Isn't it prone to get pushed? For example in mid drift when reaching for the handbrake.

Dry ice is by far the easiest way to remove that sound stuff by far. I’m almost 100% sure they have never tried it and you can’t change my mind.

Its honestly not that difficult on newer cars, because its still soft. Dry ice does come in clutch on the older cars tho

Age of car is a factor for sure but also each manufacturer is different, Nissan and Toyota we still use dry ice, bmw the heat is the best move

No, you would need an M3 rear end, since its electronic

@@DriftHQ what did you guys use for the silver 2jz f30 dif since they are also electronic diff and are almost always open dif… I was going to weld my parts car one but every forum says not to because it will overheat everything in the rear end cuz of how it applied brakes to whatever wheel is spinning to gain traction????

@@TylerF30 We put an m3/m4 rear end in one of our previous videos. You can weld the diff, just permanently disable traction control with someone who codes bmws
