Too much traffic jam in my town unfortunately. I sold this away a couple years ago. In my country Japan this model was pretty rare.

Have you ever had to change the lights on the instrument cluster? And if so do you think you’d ever consider making a video on it

So to change the front bulb we have to take off all the plastics and dismount the front light? Is there no shortcu? - Great video, by the way :-)

You can do it by reaching in from underneath. I just like to take stuff apart to clean and understand how it works! I also had to replace the hold down clips, which was a lot easier with the unit out of the bike.

Thanks. My 2002 has a lighting short. No idea how to repair, so I disconnect the battery dAILY. Any advice?

You've just got to put in the time to track it down. Check each and every connection for corrosion. I'd also do a bit of searching through forums to see if there are known issues. It's unlikely you have been the only one with that problem.

jason, again thanks for a look at how these things go together. The tail light connector is really pretty cheesy, and poorly protected from moisture. Probably the thing to do is get some spares of this stuff, before these bikes get much older.
